If you've already seen a gynecologist, then you should probably have a second opinion, since it seems that you're still not clear what's going on. From the information you have given, it sounds like a nabothian cyst - where a gland in the cervix has been blocked. They are very common, they are usually small but can be very large, and they are completely benign. If it's a nabothian cyst, there's nothing to do. Of course, there are also many other causes of lumps in or in the cervix including cancer, other cysts, polyps, warts, fibroids, etc. The only real way to discover would be to see a gynecologist for a colposcopy and possibly a biopsy. Note that pap stains are not designed to detect cancer - only precancerous changes. So even a negative pipe doesn't rule out cancer. That's why those who have normal pap stains but an unusual cervix, abnormal bleeding, abnormal discharge or any unusual complaint should see a gynecologist for a check.
